    Eleftherios Petrounias of Greece is the current Lord of the Rings, winning the gold at the 2016 Olympics. He also won rings at the 2015 World Championships and at the 2015 and 2016 European Championships. Thanks for watching.

    I am a gymnast and gymnastics coach for 25 years and still enjoy this awesome sport.

    now add 2017 world champion!! as a retired ringman and judge, I would like to see him 1 - work on stopping the swing he gets at the beginning a all his exercises and 2 - get that double double dismount to the stretched position. his back uprise to 3 second solid as a rock planche is incredible

      ...also another way to train a cross is to put your arm through the strap so the ring is resting either on top of your forearm or below it (there are 2 different ways, one is harder and one is easier). this also shortens the distance of your arm and is a way to help develop rings strength. i will have an example of this in the video

      hey josh, i just saw it - not bad! a few suggestions: 1. you can try rolling your wrists. it will shorten the distance of your arm and make it easier. 2. maybe you can try a few turns of going just a little low and holding some kind of position and then build from there by trying to go lower. you can also still do some turns of trying to go all the way down too. i just filmed that cross tutorial and have to edit it, but there are a bunch of different exercises that you might want to try. good job too man!
