So i was surfing through youtube feeds and outta' no where this song started and pulled me back into the singularity
Easily the most TOOLish and interesting piece on the album. Tempest is indulgent fun. Culling voices is lovely. Descending packs a late punch. FI is a review of their history. Invincible is routine TOOL
How many millions of people need to put those 'hold my beer' comments on every tool video. Perhaps if I join the hivemind it'll bother me less. Generic pop star: I do a weird Tool: beer hold
So immature and pedantic. Does one really need 13 years to compose such a repetitive and amateurish work? So sad that music production is stuck in the emptiness of these "non-progressive" albums. It's just the merchandise of sounds, no soul, no ideas, no creative fire... so sad.
Censored peep crap. I love Tool since i saw them for a first time in 1993. Please remove this peep up censored nonsense. Thumb down.
Now I understand why it took 13 years!
So they had to put up the edited MTV versions of this song, "Ænema", and "Prison Sex". Which is weird because the audio only versions are unedited.
You don’t need to be touched by Tool’s 7empest to be someone who’s ever lived. You don’t need to be smitten by the drama of a near-16-min track to claim you breathed non-stop for 16 years between Black Sabbath’s self-titled album and 1986’s Master of Puppets, Peace Sells but Who’s Buying, Somewhere in Time, 5150, Little Miss Dangerous, Turbo etc. There are millions who have led great lives without ever knowing what Metal music is. Many have lived without hearing the name: Led Zeppelin and still feel they’ve seen it all. So don’t feel estranged by the alarming existence of Tool’s fans and what you love to call empty hype. (Song of the year. Not really, I guess the decade).
what a truly amazing feeling to be listening to tunes like this...make you feel glad to be alive
Apparently it just took Maynard 13 years to write an album's worth of lyrics that weren't about his mom. And surprise surprise, pretty much all the songs have way more music than lyrics. :p
If Danny Carey and Neil Pert were to have a drum-off, the universe would collapse in on itself.
This is by far the heaviest song I've heard played in 6/8ths time. It's amazing.
Guitar riff enters @ 1:20 = my anger now has a sound
(keep calm. Keepin it calm. Keep calm. FUCK. Here we go again) Heat lightning flash, but don’t blink. Misleading. Tranquility ruse. You’re gonna happen again. That’s what I think. Follow the evidence. Look it dead in the eye. You are darkness. Trying to Lull us in, before the havoc begins, into a dubious state of serenity. Acting all surprised when you’re caught in the lie. We know better. It’s not unlike you. It’s not unlike you. We know your nature. Blame it all on the bastards when you’re blowin out. Shame on you. Shame on you, now No amount of wind could begin to cover up your petulant stench and demeanor. Calm as cookies and cream, so it seems. We’re not buying your dubious state of serenity. Acting all surprised when you’re caught in the lie. We know better. It’s not unlike you It’s not unlike you. We know your nature. Calm before the torrent comes. Calm before the 7empest comes to reign all over. Disputing intentions invites devastation. A 7empest must be true to its nature. A 7empest will be just that. Control, your delusion. Insane and striking at random. Victim of your uncertainty, and therefore your doubt’s not an option. Blameless, the 7empest must/will be just that. So try as you may, feeble, your attempt to atone. Your words to erase all the damage cannot. A 7empest will be just that.
Any tool veterans that can tell me what this song is about?😂
this pointless censoring is so lame. How can one be so stupid... what a poor mentality.
Had a migraine till I listened to this, and then it magically went away :)
Dude... play this track as soon as you start the Fear Inoculum Track they go perfect together once that heavy bass that vibrates every bone in your body and the guitar in the first track, holy hell the goosebumbs you get...
This album just told me that my stereo system sucks.
Tool was always one of my favorites, Schism being my favorite song.... this new album. Feels me with so many emotions. Music for the soul
I think they're gonna do 7empest as an opening followed by Vicarious, connected by the sound alarm
3:30 when you finally find your mate in rust
so.... we goin with 'Septempest' then?
Gotta say....they've come a long way...but also sound the same.
shit blood n' cum on my hands.
I cannot stop listening to this
this song is my cue to switch to the meshuggah playlist
OK, I'm ready for the next album.
FALLING ISN'T FLYING FLOATING ISN'T INFINITE
Best song on the album for me. This is now one of my favourites from any of their albums so far.
I headbanged so hard I broke my neck
flash flood warning popped up on my phone, needed a soundtrack, came here
This song is the best song on the album
I like it but it could be much more concise, I've got shit to do you know.
"TOOL", one word.....EPIC. Nothing will ever come close to touching this bands creativity & sound. 13 years was worth the wait for this album.
Tool fans have been waiting to hear new music for 13 years, and when the band finally released Fear Inoculum late last month their hungry fans ate it up. The album did the unspeakable when it ousted Taylor Swift's Lover as the No. 1 album in the country its first week of release - marking the biggest rock album debut in a year. Now, it's surpassed another well-loved name and broke a rock chart record in the process. All 10 songs off Fear Inoculum are currently on Billboard's Hot Rock Song chart, with six of them breaking the Top 10. This feat sets the record for the most tracks from a single artist to hold a Top 10 position on the chart, de-throning Twenty One Pilots who previously held the record.
Sharpened teeth behind shimmering geometry. An appalling revelation indeed.
27 year old Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 who just got started listening to Tool, how could I have missed such a great band especially when I come from listening to bands like Disturbed, Linkin Park, Slipknot, Lamb of God and Meshuggah.
And then there was light.....
This is the frequency reached when one doesn't surrender to the establishment 😁
I wouldn't be the deep thinking intellectual if it hadn't been for the 90s. Even to this day, I'm still prying my third eye. 👀👀👀😎
That intro jesuuuuuus. Right in two
Who played the solo? Justin or Adam Jones?
Fatal plagues, garage tents and homeless people growing, especially in California, and soon climate change getting worse,....Tool has predicated the future!
뭐 이런노래가 다있노. 다시는 안듣는다 뭐고이게
I love this song I used to not like tool but overtime it has grown on me but my dad loves them. I love the very detailed lyrics it makes the song mean more than you previously thought. Great song tool
How on earth do ppl go to concerts now when tickets are between $300 for bad seats and $1,000 or more per ticket for front floor seats! I'm 56 and grew up seeing Cheap Trick/UFO/and RUSH headlining for $7.50 for 8th-row center. Saw U2 in 1985 for $20. Are they only from Ticketmaster or can you get reasonable prices when they 1st go on sale at the arena box office? I've never paid more than $25-30, and that's for the Who at Shae Stadium. ANd i refuse to pay over $100 for something half way away from the stage. AAARGGGGGGHJTYKUI!
I am so confused, in a good way. Cannot stop listening!
Oculum... oculus. Take a look at the cover. ;)
Its not a fuckiing expansion of a brain, its all about consciousness. There better be few tool fans who really get s them rather all crowds listening and misunderstanding the words and sounds and limiting to mind/ego.
This must be the song that took 13 years to finish because it feels that long! What a beaut, 7empest alone made the wait worth it!!
This band is phenomenal. I just recently discovered Tool.
This is now my favourite song of theirs of all time! It's so beautiful man!!! Thanks!
My favourite Tool song. Unbelievable !
My salamander just heard this.....now he's Smaug!!
09:46 El centro del toro Y uno mismo con el universo la realidad es una vibracion que nos ponen encima para engañarnos
Don't know about u tool fans, but I just heard elements of Jambi right there....
I had never witnessed a comment section this funny
Maynards vocals really shine through on this record
Kinda the same old same old huh?
Who else gets the most chilling and eerie shivers from this song?
If you’re looking for a quick dopamine dump or an easy escape this is not for you. This requires a little more work. Possibly a generous amount of reflection. But the rewards are bountiful
Why isn't this concerned, if you notice it's female spreading her vaga ja, and her booty hole, I'm sure in not the only one... unless you wanna dive in to mother earth's pussy or booty..
I have paid full retail price for every Tool album that has ever come out. Some multiple times. I feel no guilt streaming their music for free.
Wake up now, children...Release the light. grclip.com/video/3ys1tMWopME/βίντεο.html The One with steady wisdom.
22 people don't wanna learn to swim...

I'm going to see Tool live for the 2nd time in November and it will be one of the best days of my life, for the second time. Any Tool fan that saw them live will agree.
U gotta listen to it about twenty times before u start to get a grip on it 👽👽👽
3:44 when you are playing a online game and your ping takes a rise
Wow. Somebody has been practicing! Better than ever. A must-see tour, for sure...
10,000 days of commercials........

This album is simply a masterpiece but imo this one is definitely the most majestic one
Friendly KoRn Fan here. This is my first time listening to Tool.
Hey! Check out some of their earlier stuff too, Opiate & Undertow.
Hijueputaa, que pedazo de tema, dope af !
I dunno if that watermelon is ripe lady,....
Una obra maestra, un candado sin una llave es esta canción.
THIS REALLY FUX MY GENITAL PLANT
I love the side of me that hates this song. Listening to TOOL reminds me of a life I lost and brings a certain amount of pain and sadness but I find myself playing this on repeat. I hate that I love you.
Hate is love. They are not separate, individual entities. Not a choice. Not like egg, that with effort the white and yellow can be separated. One.
This song makes me want to pick up a sword and shield and fight the army of darkness
Why tf have I never listened to Tool before?! This is the best damn shit I've heard in a long time!!
They have more good songs!
Danny's drums have never sounded better!! So deep. They pop!! His drum tech i hear used to do John Bomhams drums.
Who else gets tranced by listening to this?
this album is keeping us from being poisoned by the media. bless this immunity. thank you tool. now go vegan.
10:33 change into highest order of musical genious I've heard in my 40 years on this planet. Pure bliss!
I wanna marry and have kids with a woman who's a TOOL fan. I'm easy to find if you're interested.
New album is so BA. Thank you TOOL!
